The monthly USTA Player Development Player and Coach Honor Roll recognizes the top performing young Americans and their coaches each month.
Here’s a look at some of the most outstanding performances turned in by American tennis players ages 20 and younger in December:
Annette Robertson (Nov. 22, 2004), Valencia, Calif. – Girls’ doubles champion at the Grade 5 J5 San Jose juniors event in San Jose, Costa Rica. She is coached by Cecil Mamiit.
Savannah Broadus (Sep. 18, 2002), Carrollton, Texas – Girls’ doubles champion at the Grade 1 J1 Bradenton juniors event in Bradenton, Fla. She is coached by Dave Licker.
Kylie Collins (Dec. 4, 2002), Savannah, Ga. – Girls’ doubles champion at the Grade 1 J1 Bradenton juniors event in Bradenton, Fla. She is coached by Kylie Collins.
Robin Montgomery (Sep. 5, 2004), Washington, D.C. – Girls’ singles champion at the Grade A JA Plantation juniors event in Plantation, Fla. She is coached by Alisama Agnamba.
Vasil Kirkov (Mar. 13, 1999), Tampa, Fla. – Men’s singles champion at the ITF World Tennis Tour M15 event in Cancun, Mexico. He is coached Stoyan Kirkov.
Elle Christensen (Sep. 8, 2000), Los Angeles – Women’s doubles champion at the ITF World Tennis Tour W15 event in Cancun, Mexico.
