Here’s a look at some of the most outstanding performances turned in by American tennis players ages 20 and younger in December:
Zane Khan (Feb. 11, 2002), New Braunfels, Texas – Boys’ singles finalist at the Grade A Orange Bowl juniors event in Plantation, Fla. He is coached by Shariq Khan.
Cori Gauff (March 13, 2004), Delray Beach, Fla. – Girls’ singles champion at the Grade A Orange Bowl juniors event in Plantation, Fla. She is coached by her father, Corey.
Allura Zamarripa (Aug. 15, 2002), Saint Helena, Calif. - Women’s singles and doubles champion at the $15,000 ITF Pro Circuit event in Bogota, Colombia. She is coached by her father, Dave.
Maribella Zamarripa (Aug. 15, 2002), Saint Helena, Calif. – Doubles champion at the $15,000 ITF Pro Circuit event in Bogota, Colombia. She is coached by her father, Dave.
