Joel Figueras joined the USTA Player Development staff on May 6, 2013 as Lead National Coach, Men’s Tennis. His primary responsibility is to facilitate coaching and training programs to assist in the development of our best prospects at the USTA Training Centers and other locations, as well as assisting our coaches and players in a better understanding of clay court development. In this role, Joel reports to Jay Berger, Head of Men's Tennis.
Prior to joining the USTA PD, Joel was the Director of the Tennis School and General Manager of Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, with over 900 students and over 50 tennis coaches
